Job Summary: The Site Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of Utility solar energy projects within the United States. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in renewable energy, particularly in the solar sector. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing multiple complex projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and in accordance with budget constraints.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of solar tracking systems at customer sites.
- Coordinate with internal project stakeholders, and clients, to ensure project objectives are met.
- Oversee quality control processes to ensure the installation and operation of solar trackers meet company standards and customer expectations.
- Frequently conduct inspections to identify and communicate with clients to rectify it.
- Provide technical support and guidance to the installation team for the installation of Golden Tracker.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that may arise during installation, commissioning, or operation.
- Ensure that all equipment and materials are properly handled and maintained.
- Maintain accurate records of project progress, including installation progress, Checklists, training certificates, MOM, and troubleshooting records.
- Prepare project reports and communicate progress to project stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachlor's degree of Civil Engineer, Civil Construction, Construction Engineer or similar.
- Experience in photovoltaic tracker installation of more than 3 years or more than 6 years expereinces in photovoltaic industry.
- Solid knowledge of civil-mechanical photovoltaic installation (especially driving and alignment of trackers).
- Able to travel frequently according to project needs.
- Microsoft Office: Intermediate, Good written and verbal communication skills, English: Intermediate (desirable).
- Organised person, able to identify priorities, plan work accordingly, and execute them on time. Ability to work under pressure. Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team. Willingness to learn new areas of work. Commitment.
